The Chand Family | Hawaii Lifestyle Photography

I get many clients who inquire about a lifestyle photography session during their visit to the islands. It is a great way to roll a family holiday into a portrait session full of fun memories. The Chand Family decided to do just that during their recent stay here in Hawaii. We did a morning session in Kailua, and I had a blast photographing their two beautiful daughters. Oh to be a kid again with so much energy! ;o)

Cheers!

The Rebmann Family | Hawaii Portrait Photography

Another belated post I'm afraid! I'm delighted to say this year is becoming a very busy one, and I am slowly catching up. I'm REALLY looking forward to blogging more from the many fun and fantastic portrait session and weddings I have had the pleasure of shooting thus far this year.

This family portrait session was MUCH larger than the usual sessions I photograph. When Laura contacted me about perhaps photographing her family, we created a special package to accommodate her needs. Her parents and siblings were coming for a visit and they really wanted to a memento for the occasion. What better way to keep a memory than through photography? :o)

Enjoy the photos!

Cheers!
B.

Grace

Yesterday afternoon, I met Grace and her mom Anne to create Grace's senior portraits. We started with a studio setup to capture the traditional formal drape shot. Then we headed to historic downtown Franklin and the town square for the fun stuff!

Grace is beautiful and outgoing, and not at all shy in front of a camera. We had a wonderful time wandering around and finding little places to shoot. Working with them was a pleasure, and I hope they love these images as much as I loved creating them!

Katherine

On Friday afternoon, I had the honor of creating Katherine's senior portraits. Working with Katherine and her mom, Linda, was such a pleasure! I also met Katherine's beautiful sister, and their dog, Mr. Darcy. From choosing Katherine's wardrobe & makeup, to finding different locations to shoot, to chatting with Linda and playing with Mr. Darcy, it was just an all-around wonderful afternoon.

Katherine is a beautiful and accomplished young lady, and we wanted to create portraits that showed her true personality. The family enjoys living in an historic downtown area, with lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. So today's session highlighted the area in which they live and play. As a painter, Katherine loves color and texture. This historic town has an abundance of both, so we didn't have much trouble finding places to shoot.
