a 'lil beach babe & his mom {Teaser Preview}

When: September 2008
Where: Windward Oahu
What:Family Portrait Session

"Too cute" is an understatement when it came to photographing baby Dominic. It is always touch and go with little ones, but he was a great sport when it came to his mom and me trying to get him to flash one of his killer smiles or darling looks. I think the Ford Modeling Agency may be giving him a call in the future! :o) Here are a few "teaser" photos from our portrait session.

Pam + Greg {08-08-08}

When: August 2008
Where: Honolulu
What:THE Wedding Date: 08/08/08

This year's hot date for a wedding was August 8th, especially for Chinese weddings as the number "8" is considered to be lucky. I had the honor of photographing Pam and Greg's reception which I have to say was AMAZING!! They had lion dancers (of course) and hula dancers perform to a crowd of over 300 people. And the menu was to die for (the reception was held at the Mandalay Restaurant downtown). Heck, I would have paid to sit back and watch everything! :o) Anyhows, if you see either of them around town, be sure to congratulate them.

As I Promised...

I promised to share some of my husbands photographs from Hungary. As some of you already know, my husband spent almost two weeks in Hungary recently, building homes with Habitat for Humanity. This was his third international build. He has previously done builds in Bulgaria and the Dominican Republic.

These first image is of the team that worked on this trip, and of the home they are building. This home is designed for three families. The team worked on the roof, the concrete steps and stoops, and the exterior walls.

The rest of the images are just from around Budapest and Szarvas. Szarvas is the town near the Romanian border where the project is located.
