Yum!

Just wanted to share with you all this wonderful, smooth, oaky wine my darling hubby brought back from Hungary. You may recall he spent nearly two weeks there, in a town called Szarvas, building homes with Habitat for Humanity. (I'll share some of his photos soon.) he brought back several bottles of wine and some Hungarian Paprika, which is just the best Paprika in the world. So tonight, we opened this bottle of Chardonnay to enjoy with our citrus scented Halibut. Yum. Cheers!

Goodness gracious (!) things have been a bit busy lately so I have not been able to post much on the 'ol blog. Lame excuse I know.. :o)

Anyhows, I'm delighted to share the photographs from Kendra & Dean's wedding. They came all the way from Nebraska for their destination wedding and of course to soak up the beauty of paradise. Beautiful blue skies and the decor set up on the beach by Aloha Wedding Planners combined to make a lovely backdrop for the ceremony. Kendra looked simply stunning in her wedding dress - don't you agree?!? You guessed it...another fun and gorgeous wedding I had the pleasure to photograph. I love my job!

Dancer in the City

Last month I shared some images of Parrish dancing in downtown Nashville. I wasn't thrilled with the results because I was shooting too long before the sun set. The hour before the sun sets is the best possible light. Prior to that, the sun is too high in the sky, and too bright. So this time, I made sure to wait for the best light...so glad I did. Nichole + Andy

What:Hawaii Destination Wedding ~~~~ Nichole and Andy are from Georgia and decided to have an intimate destination wedding on the windward side of Oahu. Nichole has to be one of the happiest brides I have ever photographed. I don't think she stopped smiling the whole time I was there. One of my favs from the day is the photo of her opening the bottle of champagne...Cheers!
