The Jung family are from Canada and this was their first trip to Hawaii, so what better way to document their holiday than with a portrait session! It was again a windy day here, but I think we were able to still have a fun time and capture some nice memories for them.

As it turns out, the Jung's tag-teamed their session with their close friends, the Colling family, so stay turned for their photographs to be posted soon...

Wedding Prologue: Talia + Darren

When: April 2009
Where: Hilton Waikoloa Village, Big Island of Hawaii
What: Hawaii Destination Wedding

Ooooooh yeah. I was pretty excited about this wedding because it was on the beautiful Kohala coast on the Big Island. I love it there! BUT what was the best part of all is that I had the privilege of meeting Talia, Darren, and their wonderful friends and family.

Talia and Darren live in California, but decided to have an intimate destination wedding here in Hawaii. Darren though is originally from England so myself and a few others learned some new wedding traditions which added much fun and delightment to the festivities! I'm sure I will have many lovely photographs of Talia and Darren's wedding to share, but for now here is a preview of just a random few.

A Short Epilogue

Just had to share a couple more favs from Sunshine and Joe's wedding. It's not often you get to use a plane as a prop! :o)

And I received an email from Autumn, who was a recent client, with a photo and the message: "Married life is hard". Check out the snapshot she sent below. Yes, that is her in her wedding dress with her new hubby, Alexander -- long boarding. Gotta love it.

Andy+Marianne+Rob+Talli

Wow, I had so much fun this afternoon with some of my favorite clients! Andy & Marianne scheduled a session for while Andy's brother Rob, and his wife Talli, were in town for Easter weekend. Rob & Talli are just as nice and fun as Andy & Marianne, and we had a great time creating some fun family photos for them. Amy + Kelly

I had so much fun yesterday photographing Amy and her good friend Kelly. Kelly lives here in town, and Amy lives in Wyoming. When she planned to come visit Kelly for a few days, she decided to have a photo session of the two of them together. Living so far away, they don't get to visit very often. We went to downtown Franklin, which was a madhouse with all the glorious spring weather--there were people EVERYWHERE!

Girls, it was so great to meet both of you, and I really enjoyed the afternoon! Amy, I hope you have a safe and comfortable flight back to Wyoming, and maybe the spring blizzards are almost over, lol!
