The journey of a thousand miles often starts with you barking up the wrong tree.
I think that's a nice title for the photo, too, Koe. :)
"and I think it's gonna rain today"
Now I have the Christmas version running around in my head -- by Elvis? Shakin' Steven? It's a great caption for the image, btw :)
that's fantastic, the title goes with that picture perfect. Except now I've got the darn Christmas tune stuck in my head.
Thanks Charity - blue picnics - are more sad to me than blue christmas.Grace - I did not know that song - but now I do. Thank you.Willow - thank you. I've had this new version running through my mind since I first saw this photograph - Ann - thank you. So. . . sing I'll have a blue, blue, picnic without you instead and maybe you won't mind as much. Thanks, everyone.
The Judy Collins version I hope. That's the one I hear in my minds ear.
I love this ghostly blue table, just waiting for memory souls to eat from baskets of joy or regret. Haunting, yet comforting.
