I just wanted to share with you a recently ordered wall gallery collection. This is going to look fantastic in their home! It can be placed on the fireplace mantle, or on a floating shelf over the bed, or over the buffet in the dining room, or just about anywhere!
The past month has been one of the busiest this year. But with the new year just around the corner, I'll be rolling out a new website with fresh and more recent images (yay, finally!), and updating my wedding and portrait packages. Thus if you were thinking about booking a photo session, now is the time to do it before the rate increase next month. :o)
When: November 2008 Where: East Oahu What:Family Portrait Session
This is the first of what I am planning to be a "blog-a-thon" over the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for photos from a few weddings, family portraits, and some photos from my mini-holiday in California. AND of course some photographs of Annie-belle my Scottie dog....I'm past due on posting some fun shots of her also! ;o)
Sarah was a referral from another client I photographed recently, and I have to say I was pretty excited when she said she was interested in having more of a Western feel to her photo session. Don't get me wrong, I love photographing at the beach, but it is nice to flex your creative muscles in a different way once in a while. Better than the location though was their carefree and relaxed attitude. I think their daughter, Maddie (yep, another one!), enjoyed telling me all about the horses, flowers, and everything else she saw. She was pretty articulate for a lass of her age. :o)
BTW, the last image of her was caught as we were leaving the stables...truly a candid moment and perhaps my fav from the day.
I had the pleasure of photographing Vicki and her daughter, Mia this afternoon. We had to reschedule from yesterday because it just wouldn't quit raining! But the weather today was wonderful--exactly what you think of when you think of a gloriously crisp fall day. We met in the Square in historic downtown Franklin, and wandered around for two hours, changing clothes, finding spots to shoot...we even took a break for Starbuck's peppermint hot chocolate and gingerbread latte. I had a great time, Vicki and Mia. I hope you enjoy your little sneak peak!
I had the honor and pleasure of photographing baby Elizabeth this morning with my friend and colleague, Rebekah Pope. Libbie was so sweet and adorable! And if she's lucky, she's inherited her mother's fabulous dimples. Thank you, Jessica, for sharing Libbie with us this morning!
I had such a great time photographing Nate and Joanna, and their bump. They were up for anything, despite the chilly, early hour (yes, anything before 9 AM is early to me.) Doesn't Joanna look radiant? And Nate is just silly with love and excitement. In the last two, he was being really silly--teasing Joanna for forgetting her wedding rings, and knocking on her belly to wake up the baby...Joanna, don't let him do that once she's born!
